Soundsplash Festival is open to all ages. It is a rain or shine event.

Ticketing

Where can I purchase tickets?

Tickets can be purchased from Eventfinda: www.eventfinda.co.nz

Please make sure to bring your ticket with you to Soundsplash. On arrival at the festival, your ticket will be exchanged for a wristband.

Is there an extra cost for parking?

All those who are camping at Soundsplash and wish to park onsite at the festival must purchase a vehicle pass (one per vehicle). Vehicle passes are limited and are only available for campers.

There are two types of vehicle pass, depending on what you are rolling in.  The Standard Vehicle Pass ($25) covers a regular passenger vehicle while the Camper Vehicle Pass ($50) is for  campervans, buses, sleeper vans, caravans towed by a car or motorhomes.

Vehicle pass holders must arrive at Soundsplash between 8am and 8pm on Friday January 19th or Saturday January 20th to gain access to the festival site and campgrounds.

On arrival at the festival, all those camping in Comfort Zone and Neighbourhood will be able to drop off gear at their campsite before being directed to the campers parking area. Fields of Joy, One Vibe Family Camping and Road Trippers camping areas include options for campsite parking. Road Trippers parking is only available for campervans, buses, sleeper vans, caravans or motorhomes.

Pass-outs are not available for onsite vehicle pass holders (unless it's an emergency). Once you are parked, your vehicle will not be able to leave until Sunday. If you decide to leave the festival site before Sunday, your vehicle pass will be removed and your vehicle will not be able to return.

No general parking is available on Wainui Reserve. If you park on roads or in cordoned off areas, your car will be immediately removed.

During the festival, a free offsite parking area will also be available for Soundsplash ticket holders at Raglan Airfield.  Please note that parking spaces at the airfield are unable to be reserved, and capacity will be limited. Regular free shuttles will run between the airfield and festival site. You must show your Soundsplash ticket or festival wristband to gain entry to the airfield carpark, and to board the shuttle.

To minimise the impact on our beautiful site, and to help reduce traffic congestion, we encourage carpooling, using buses or ride sharing wherever possible.

Can I go to town or the beach?

Yes, once you have your wristband you are free to come and go from the festival.

The beach is an easy walk from the festival site, and free shuttle buses will run regularly between Soundsplash and Raglan township.

Ticketholders and their belongings will be searched upon re-entry to the festival, and any alcohol or other prohibited items found will be confiscated and not returned.

Will pass-outs be available for vehicles?

No pass-outs are available for vehicles parked at the festival site (unless it's an emergency). Once you are parked your car will not be able to leave until Sunday. If you decide to leave the festival site before Sunday, your vehicle pass will be removed and your car will not be able to return.

Can I refund my ticket?

Only if the event is cancelled.

Camping

Is there a cost for camping?

Yes, the cost of a camping pass for an adult (18 years of age and over ) or Youth (Aged 16 -17) in one of our 5 Campgrounds is $35.
Children (Aged 15 years and under) camp for free when accompanied by an adult guardian with a camping pass.  Each individual person who is camping needs to have a camping pass.

What are the different camping areas at Soundsplash?

The Neighbourhood - SOLD OUT - Tents Only. 2 minute walk to venue.
One Vibe Family - Tents/car parking & camper vehicles for families. 2 minute walk to venue.

Can I swap camp zones?

No. Each campground has a specific number of people it can fit and swapping campgrounds messes with those calculations. So, it's important to choose your campground carefully when purchasing your camping pass.

How much room will I have for my tent?

Camp sites in The Neighbourhood and Comfort Zone will be approximately 6m x 4m.

Can I bring my campervan/caravan?

Yes, but you must purchase a Camping Pass and Camper Vehicle Pass in either the Road Trippers Vehicle site or as part of the One Vibe Family Package.

Camper Vehicle Pass holders must arrive at Soundsplash between 8am and 8pm on Friday January 19th or Saturday January 21st to gain access to the festival site. No pass-outs are available for vehicles (unless it is an emergency).

Once you are parked, your vehicle will not be able to leave until Sunday. If you decide to leave the festival site before Sunday, your vehicle pass will be removed and your vehicle will not be able to return.

Can I bring a generator?

No generators are to be brought on site, out of respect for your neighbours and your ecological footprint.

What time can I arrive at my campsite?

Vehicle pass holders must arrive at Soundsplash between 8am and 8pm on Friday January 19th or Saturday January 20th to gain access to the festival site and campgrounds.
